2. Translate the following passage into English. Write your translation on alternate lines. Dido, a Libyan queen, entertains unexpected guests. Διδὼ ἦν βασίλεια Λιβύης. ἐπεὶ δ' ὁ ἀνὴρ Συχαῖος ἀπέθανε, ἀθλία ἦν καὶ ἄλλον ἄνδρα φιλεῖν οὐχ οἷά τ' ἦν. ἔπειτα δὲ κατὰ θάλασσαν ἦλθε ξένος τις καλὸς μετὰ πολλῶν ἄλλων ναυτῶν. ἡ γάρ θάλασσα χαλεπὴ ἦν καὶ ἔβλαψε τὰς τῶν ναυτῶν ναῦς. καὶ Διδὼ εὐθὺς ἐκέλευσε τοὺς δούλους δεῖπνον τοῖς ξένοις παρασκευάζειν. μετὰ δὲ τὸ δεῖπνον Διδὼ ἀκούειν ἤθελε τίνες εἰσὶ καὶ πόθεν ἔρχονται. ὁ δὲ ἡγεμὼν ἤγγειλεν "εἰμὶ Αἰνείας.
