Gaïdád was the father of Maleleel, and Ἐγεννήθη δὲ τῶ Ἐνὼχ Γαϊδάδ, καὶ Γαϊδὰδ Maleleel the father of Methúsala and ἐγέννησε τὸν Μαλελεήλ, καὶ Μαλελεὴλ Methúsala the father of Lámech. And Lámech ἐγέννησε τὸν Μαθουσάλα, καὶ Μαθουσάλα took two wives; the name of the one was ἐγέννησε τὸν Λάµεχ. Καὶ ἐλαβεν ἑαυτῶ Adáh, and the name of the other Selláh. Adáh Λάµεχ δύο γυναῖκας, ὄνοµα τὴ µιά, Ἀδά, καὶ bore Jobeél; he was the father of those who ὄνοµα τὴ δευτέρα Σελλά. Καὶ ἔτεκεν Ἀδὰ τόν dwell in tents and have cattle. The sister of Thobél was καὶ ἣν σφυροκόπος χαλκεὺς χαλκοῦ, καὶ Noëmáh. Lámech said to his wives: Adáh σιδήρου, ἀδελφὴ δὲ θόβελ, Νοεµά. Εἶπε δὲ and Selláh, hear my voice; you wives of Λάµεχ ταὶς ἑαυτοῦ γυναιξίν, Ἀδὰ καὶ Σελλά. Lámech, hearken to what I say: I have slain a Ἀκούσατέ µου τῆς φωνῆς, γυναῖκες Λάµεχ, man for wounding me, a young man for ἐνωτίσασθέ µου τοὺς λόγους, ὅτι ἄνδρα striking me. If Cain is avenged sevenfold, ἀπέκτεινα εἰς τραῦµα ἐµοί, καὶ νεανίσκον εἰς truly Lámech seventy-sevenfold. And Adam µώλωπα ἐµοί.
