Higher Education Advanced Schools of Tourism Education Admission Requirements: High school graduates after Pan-Hellenic exams organized by the Ministry of Education
Organizational Structure Advanced Schools of Tourism Education Studies last 3 ½ years (6 semesters + I semester of thesis & placement) 1 st Year October-January February-June July-September 1 st semester 2 nd semester placement 2 nd Year October-January February-June July-September 3 rd semester 4 th semester placement 3 rd Year October-January February-June September-January 5 th semester 6 th semester dissertation & placement
Organizational Structure Advanced Schools of Tourism Education Graduates of the ASTER & ASTEAN are prepared for advanced executive posts in the hospitality industry. They have the same professional rights as the graduates of the Technological Education Institutes (TEI), specialization Tourism Management of the Ministry of Education In reality, the curriculums between the ASTER & ASTEAN (Ministry of Tourism) and the Departments of Tourism Management of TEI (Ministry of Education) have a lot of similarities. Main Advantage of ASTER & ASTEAN: Total of 3 placement trimesters.

Secondary Technical Vocational Education Vocational Schools Hotel & Catering Culinary Art Confectionary Operations
Secondary Technical Vocational Education Graduates of at least the 1 st class of high school (age limit: 23 years old) Admission after selection procedure (eg foreign language competence) Duration of studies: 2 years Duration of placement: 6 months (3 months per year) 8 vocational schools
