Διαλειτουργικότητα - Μια απλή δημιουργία γεφυρών;

The GENESIS concept Efficiency Elimination of media breaks for common business transactions Single point-of-entry for B2B, B2G and Banking transactions Faster transaction processing Better data quality Costs and Revenues Negligible setup and integration costs Elimination of consulting costs Reduction of operating and maintenance costs at client and server side Increased revenue by additional potential business partners Flexibility Adaptable to specificities in various industries and geographic regions Central updates to changing data exchange requirements and changing processes Central update mechanism Interoperability Facilitation of end-to-end application integration between business partners Integration of enterprises with and without ERP systems Availability of Real-Time information Clients for various ERP systems, banks and tax authorities Source: GENESIS project

The Commius concept Commius project conceives interoperability as a utility- like capability (ISU) for enterprises Available at (very) low cost, with zero start-up costs in terms of both resources and learning Accessible in principle by all enterprises (universal or near- universal access) Guaranteed to a certain extent and at a certain level in accordance with a set of common rules Not controlled or owned by any single private entity using SMTP (email) for sending and receiving business documents Source: COMMIUS project
The Commius approach System Interoperability Semantic Interoperability Process Interoperability Source: COMMIUS project

The Euridice concept In five years time, most of the goods flowing through European freight corridors will be intelligent, i.e.: self-aware, context-aware and connected through a global telecommunication network to support a wide range of information services for logistic operators, industrial users and public authorities Source: EURIDICE project
Cargo intelligence Self-awareness means the ability of cargo to interact with the surrounding environment to actively notify its presence, identity and requirements. Context-awareness means intelligent ad hoc combination i of information from all the involved stakeholders (shippers, logistic services providers, infrastructures and authorities), based on the current cargo position and status. t Connectivity of moving ggoods means their constant availability as service consumers or providers by exploiting at need the mobile and fixed network infrastructures available along the route.
