What has GOYA Been Up To? Over the months of December and January, the GOYA youth have participated in Christmas present wrapping, a Christmas movie night, a GOYA table at the Church bake sale, and a Catechism discussion with Father Spyro, in which the youth s questions regarding Orthodoxy were answered. GOYA youth also participated in New Year s carolling to various Greek homes, a gym night, and a meeting. These events are planned and structured towards the requests of the members and strive to ensure the youth enjoy the activities. GOYA is currently in the process of attaining hoodies for the youth group and looking into a possible trip for the group to take. The GOYA ministry is also donating $500 of our raised money to the Ekklisaki at RGM, so the youth can be remembered as a group who assisted in funding this memorable chapel. For any questions, concerns or youth 12 to 18 years of age interested in joining, please email goyaregina1@gmail.com, or contact Michael Lang at (306) 570-9735.
