The goal of an Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) Provide a learning experience that helps people reflect, interpret, understand and create opportunities for growth and development. Create a partnering relationship with horses to complete specific tasks, participants learn to compromise, set goals, overcome fears and realize how interact with the others. Learn effective communication and teamwork, and how to create synergy in order to establish mutually beneficial, outcome-based relationships.
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) Equine facilitated experiential learning is : A process where individual insights are self-developed through relationship and interaction with other people, horses, places and situations. Horses are amazingly sensitive - reading and responding to human intention and non-verbal communication. Their responses provide instant, honest feedback to our behavior, moment by moment. EAL is an experiential learning experience that uses horses not as tools, but as active participants.

Equine assisted learning process 1. The EAL facilitator can observe, comment, and instruct the participant in effective development of communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal. 2. Work which depends wholly on non-verbal communication, through reading the cues a horse sends through facial expression, body movement, and vocalizing, teaches a skill which can be utilized in human relationships. 3. When the communication process is realized-established, horses, like customers or co-workers and participants, become willing partners in an organization's mission, magnifying the team's power of effective leadership.

Leadership Skills through Equine Assisted Learning Equine workshops create experiences which get to the heart of issues quickly, powerfully and effectively - facilitating self-awareness and the rapid development of personal and interpersonal skills. Interacting with horses, delegates come face to face with their personal challenges and discover how to overcome them. The changes they make are reflected back instantly by the horses. Workshops combine theory and practice: blending classroom learning with facilitated interactions with horses. Participants work with horses on the ground; there is no riding involved.
Equine workshops Customized for individuals and corporate groups. 1/2 day, 1 day or 2 days long for groups and individuals. Divided between arena time and classroom time. Facilitated by a learning specialist and an equine certified specialist. Currently are being held at Hippolysis facilities in Marathon area. Based on experiential/transformational learning principle.
