ΧΑΙΡΕΤΙΣΜΟΣ Αγαπητοί συνάδελφοι, Η Παθολογική Ογκολογία εξελίσσεται δυναμικά χρόνο με το χρόνο και η ενσωμάτωση της επιστημονικής προόδου στην καθημερινή πρακτική είναι απαραίτητη για τη σωστή άσκησή της. Το συνέδριο της ASCO κάθε χρόνο συγκεντρώνει το μεγαλύτερο ενδιαφέρον των Παθολόγων - Ογκολόγων διεθνώς, δεδομένου ότι εκεί παρουσιάζονται οι νεότερες εξελίξεις που αφορούν την κλινική πράξη αλλά και την έρευνα στην Ογκολογία. Είμαστε στην ευχάριστη θέση να σας προσκαλέσουμε στην επίσημη εκδήλωση της ASCO στην Ελλάδα, «Best of ASCO 2016, event in Greece», η οποία θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Βουλιαγμένη Αττικής, στο Ξενοδοχείο Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso, 23-24 Σεπτεμβρίου 2016. Η εκδήλωση αυτή έχει εκπαιδευτικό χαραχτήρα και αποσκοπεί, μέσα σε ένα πρόγραμμα δύο ημερών, στην ανακεφαλαίωση των σημαντικότερων μελετών του ετήσιου συνεδρίου της Αμερικανικής Εταιρείας Κλινικής Ογκολογίας (ASCO). Πρόκειται για μία πρωτοβουλία, με στόχο να διευκολύνει τη πρόσβαση στα νεότερα δεδομένα της κλινικής έρευνας στην Ογκολογία. Η Ελληνική Επιστημονική Επιτροπή σε συνεργασία με την ASCO επέλεξε τις σημαντικότερες μελέτες, οι οποίες θα παρουσιαστούν με τις πρωτότυπες διαφάνειες και θα αναλυθούν διεξοδικά. Επιπλέον οι ομιλητές, άτομα με εμπειρία σχετικά με το θέμα που θα αναπτύξουν, θα εστιάσουν στις επιπτώσεις των νέων δεδομένων στη καθημερινή άσκηση της Παθολογικής Ογκολογίας στην Ελλάδα.
