The program is implemented by the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, Culture and Sports of Greece and the Institute of Educational Policy. 2011-2015: Member of the scientific team and Head of the Research Department of Diagnostic & Therapeutic Unit for Children Spyros Doxiadis for the implementation of the Early intervention program for infants and toddlers aged 0-4 years in remote areas of Greece (Paros, Antiparos, Milos) and in selected areas of Athens. The program involved several actions such as: a) to detect developmental and mental health disorders from birth until the age of 4, b) to refer high risk infants and toddlers to an interdisciplinary team of the Unit for further assessment and diagnosis of the difficulties they encounter, and c) to provide therapeutic services to the most vulnerable children and their families in the context of the early intervention program for a period of eighteen months. A wide range of supervised therapies (counseling, early bonding psychotherapy, speech and language therapy, portage educational program, etc) were provided through telemedicine (skype conferences).
