1 Dear Parents/Guardians, This is a homework packet for the following week. An ORAL QUIZ is scheduled for next Thursday, Sept. 17 th on Weather Vocab/Expressions AND Α TEST for Monday Sept. 21 st on the Whole Packet: Body parts, Weather, Todays /Yesterday s/tomorrow s Date, and the questions Τι ςθμαίνει;/what does it mean? and Πώσ ςε λζνε;/what is your name?. Questions will be similar or identical to the ones you can find in this packet. Students have done a lot of practice in all the above and should be able to do very well on the test. Students must study carefully pages 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and learn all relevant vocabulary/expressions (questions and answers). HOMEWORK_1: Students must turn in pages 3, 7, 9 by Tuesday, Sept. 15th HOMEWORK_2: Students must turn in pages 10, 11, 12 by Friday, Sept. 18 th Students do not have to do pages We will work on them during class Parents, this is the first homework packet and the first test in Greek Language with a new teacher this year. A certain amount of stress about the unknown is expected! Please, assure your child that if s/he puts effort in studying for and focusing during the test, s/he will do more than fine! All students will get all help needed and all accommodations required. All students will be given enough time to complete their test. Even if they find the packet difficult, please do not be concerned. Just have them study for the test and be sure that I will help them if needed. No worries!!! Have them practice recognizing the sound some of the Greek letters make (see second pdf file), saying their first name (-Πώσ ςε λένε;/pos seh lehneh? -Με λένε /Meh leneh..) and, if possible, the days of the week in Greek.
