The construction/renovation in our building has been completed. We welcome new children from our parish to attend our Greek and Sunday school. *New Greek School program, please see attached. Dance Group Practice will be held every other Friday, next practice: November 9 th at 5pm / church hall. Youth Groups Our HOPE & JOY groups are ministries at Saints Constantine and Helen that

2 provide an opportunity for children to meet, socialize, and interact with one another through various events held during the year, while forming a sense of belonging to our parish and God. Please consider getting your kids involved in HOPE/JOY this year. Some of our prior events have included Christmas Crafts/Wreath Decorating, PB&J Night (pizza, bible and jammies, Chocolate Dipping, Ninja Warrior Training, and Bounce Houses. Our annual events are the Harvest Dance and Easter Egg Hunt. To join the program, please complete the attached registration form. There is no cost or fee to join since each event is pay as you go. Once the form is completed, you can it to Cally at saintschsecretary@me.com or Kristin at tcbk64@aol.com. Otherwise, you may also print it out and drop off at the church office. Should you have any questions regarding the HOPE/JOY program, feel free to contact the youth group advisors, Kristin ( and Bonnie ( Last Friday, our youth group hosted our Annual Harvest Dance. With over 100 people in attendance, the evening was full of laughter, music, fun and games. Thank you to everyone who attended; your presence helped make the event a big success. In addition, a special thank you to Aqua Terra who donated part of the food as well as a thank you to the people who helped set up and take down the decorations. wanted our food for this event. It was an Ad Hoc event and we served Gyro s / Pork Souvlaki / Chicken Souvlaki / Greek Salad / Spanakopites and Tiropites and Baklava. Sadly, our Sunday was the coldest day of the month and the turnout was less than anticipated but we were still able to make some profit. We want to thank those parishioners who helped to support this effort and gave their time in shopping / prepping / cooking and serving. Every little bit helps! God Bless and Thank you. Choir HANDEL S MESSIAH AT WEST POINT: For a spiritual enjoyment of the Christmas season, I recommend attending the traditional performance of Handel s Messiah at West Point. Members of area choirs, including our own, will join cadets of the Academy to perform the Christmas section of Handel s Messiah at the West Point Chapel on Sunday, December 2, at 3:30 PM. Fall event / Festival This past weekend (Sunday October 21 our Church participated in a month long series of Octoberfest Activities at Van Houten Farms. Our Annual Greek Festival is so popular, they

And a woman who had had a flow of blood for twelve years and had spent all her living upon physicians and could not be healed by anyone, came up behind him, and touched the fringe of his garment; and immediately her flow of blood ceased. And Jesus said, "Who was it that touched me?" When all denied it, Peter and those who were with him said, "Master, the multitudes surround you and press upon you!" But Jesus said, "Some one touched me; for I perceive that power has gone forth from me." Through the teaching of Greek history, language arts and our Greek Orthodox religion, a rich moral and cultural environment is established. Schedule Of Classes: Tuesdays and Thursdays As a result of a strong demand from our community, the teachers and the education committee are offering a Greek School activity for children in the approximate age range of years old. The program will focus on learning through games and fun activities. The class will last approximately 40 minutes, from 4:15-4:55 every Tuesday and Thursday. Enrollment of students will be on a trial basis, and will be conditional on the student being able to function in this group setting. We need this to be a positive and enriching experience for our children, and it will require close monitoring and collaboration between parents and teachers.
