Youth Groups We would like to thank everyone for coming to our Harvest Dance this past Friday! With over 90 people there, a fun time was had by all. The kids enjoyed dancing and playing games/contests while the parents were able to mingle and watch their children have a great time. Most of the food that night was generously donated by the New 304 Diner and Aqua Terra. Regarding decorations, several parish members tirelessly assisted with the setting up and taking down of the decorations. It is heartwarming to see our church community come together for the benefit of our children. Thank you again to everyone; we are already looking forward to next year's dance! Announcement of our Greek Youth Dance Group This program is open to all children of our parish, ages 5-12. Our next practice is on Friday, November 10 th, at 5:00pm. Registration form is attached. Choir Choir rehearsals are held on Sundays after the social coffee and on weekdays, usually Wednesday or Thursday mornings, or Wednesday or Thursday evenings. There is always room for new members and we will welcome any one who wishes to join assuming he or she meets the following requirements: Musical ability - Prompt attendance at the services - Attendance at rehearsals But the most important requirement is DEDICATION to our church and the congregation. As he went, the people pressed round him. And a woman who had had a flow of blood for twelve years and had spent all her living upon physicians and could not be healed by anyone, came up behind him, and touched the fringe of his garment; and immediately her flow of blood ceased. And Jesus said, "Who was it that touched me?" When all denied it, Peter and those who were with him said, "Master, the multitudes surround you and press upon you!" But Jesus said, "Some one touched me; for I perceive that power has gone forth from me." And when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been immediately healed. And he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace." While he was still speaking, a man from the ruler's house came and said, "Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the Teacher any more." But Jesus on hearing this answered him, "Do not fear; only believe, and she shall be well." And when he came to the house, he permitted no one to enter with him, except Peter and John and James, and the father and mother of the child. Youth Groups Ευχαριστούµε το Aqua Terra και το The New 304 Diner για το φαγητό που προσέφεραν ΔΩΡΕΑΝ για το Harvest Dance τη εκδήλωση του ΗΟΡΕ της ενορίας µας. Η εκδήλωσή µας ήταν επιτυχής, περισότερα από 90 ενήλικες και παιδιά ήταν παρόν. Ευχαριστούµε όλους που ήρθαν στη εκδήλωσή µας και προσέφεραν τη βοήθειά τους. Ανακοίνωση γκρούπ του Ελληνικού Χορού Το γκρούπ του Ελληνικού χορού έχει οργανωθεί και έχει ήδη αρχίσει. Το πρόγραµµα έιναι για τα παιδιά της ενορίας µας 5-12 ετών. Δέχοντε εγγραφές, έντυπα εγγραφής έχουν συναπτεί εδώ και θα βρείτε αντίτυπα στο πίνακα ανακοινώσεων, στο γραφείο ή στη ιστοσελίδα της εκκλησίας µας. Η επόµενη συνάντηση θα γίνει την Παρασκευή, 10 Νοεµβρίου, 5µµ. ΝΕΑ ΤΗΣ ΧΟΡΩΔΙΑΣ/ΙΕΡΟΨΑΛΤΩΝ Η χορωδία εξασκείται κάθε Κυριακή ακολούθως του κοινωνικού καφέ. Αν δέν υπάρξει τότε χρόνος, είτε λόγω μυστηρίου ή είτε λόγω άλλης εκδηλώσεως της Φιλοπτώχου, τότε οι εξασκήσεις εκτελούνται τις καθημερινές. Πάντα υπάρχει τόπος για νέα μέλη που επιθυμούν να συμμετάσχουν εφ όσον ανταποκρίνονται στα ακόλουθα κριτήρια: Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι πρέπει να είναι ενορίτες της εκκλησίας μας - Μουσική ικανότητα- ΈΈγκαιρος και τακτική παρουσία στις ακολουθίες - Παρουσία στις εξασκήσεις.

Αλλά το πιό σπουδαίο καθήκον είναι η ΑΦΟΣΙΩΣΗ στην Εκκλησία και το εκκλησίασμα. Οι ίδιοι κανόνες εφαρμόζονται για όσους θέλουν να συμμετάσχουν με τους ιεροψάλτες.
