ΣΥΜΒΟΛΑ ΦΕΝΓΚ ΣΟΥΙ ΚΑΙ ΤΥΧΕΡΑ ΑΝΤΙΚΕΙΜΕΝΑ Οι συμβολισμοί και η σωστή χρήση διαφόρων τυχερών αντικειμένων είναι από τις βασικές λειτουργίες και εφαρμογές στο ΦΕΝΓΚ ΣΟΥΙ. Ο Γκουαν Γκονγκ, ο θεός του πλούτου και της προστασίας, τοποθετημένος κοντά στην είσοδο και βλέποντας προς αυτή, ειδικά για πολιτικούς, δικηγόρους, αστυνομικούς και στρατιωτικούς. Ο βάτραχος με τρία πόδια, ένα από τα δημοφιλέστερα σύμβολα, με κινέζικο νόμισμα στο στόμα φέρνει πλούτο και καλή τύχη. Τοποθετείστε τον κοντά στην είσοδο σε ένα τραπεζάκι, λίγο ψηλά για να ανυψωθούν τα οικονομικά σας. The Nature of Angels - True & False Visions. From the forthcoming book: The Seven Archangels - An Illustrated Guide into the World of Angels by Fanitsa Petrou. Angels are reflections of the divine, perfected beings of Union. Since we are still trapped in these realms of separation and duality, it is obvious we are still unready to face Divinity in its full splendor. Our encounters with them are therefore relative to our limited understanding of their nature, and to our limited understanding of the nature of the Divine: we see what we can comprehend. We are allowed to participate in the realities that are nearer to our own grasp, and level of consciousness. Even when we are blessed with an angelic presence, we have already created its image in our mind! This does not, however, imply that our visions are necessarily false. Only that the form which they take, is often subjected to our own very personal level of perception. Every tradition had tried to make sense of the physical and spiritual world by defining it, and by setting rules in order to safeguard these definitions and perpetuate them in Time. Every tradition had tried to understand the Divine in all its known expressions and describe them in terms that are acceptable by the time frame in which they were created. Each aphorism, each dogma, each religious law, was created in order to safeguard a personal version of the truth, which was always subjected to the perception level of its creator. But we are all children of the same Divine Energy, no matter when and where we were born, no matter how we picture our God and ourselves in His/Her cosmos. Our views, religions, visions, vary only because we direct our eyes towards the heavens, from different heights. So we come before different vistas, different versions, which are as many, as the stages through which we go, in this effort to eventually reach the ONE truth and the ONE Absolute Divinity. This is the reason why people coming from different religious backgrounds and from different time periods, they all experience mystical visions and miracles. The divine is One undivided Supreme Source, yet the forms with which we perceive it, vary. As much as our backgrounds and traditions vary! A Greek Orthodox mother for example, invoking the Holy Virgin, will probably envision Her, looking like the babyholding ascetic woman who appears in the Byzantine icons that have been part of her childhood, of her up-bringing, memories and set of beliefs. A Catholic woman however, may come before a gentler figure she will identify as the Holy Virgin of Lourdes, or looking like the Madonna found in some old Italian cathedral. Similarly, a woman in India, when found in the same situation, will be visited by Tara; a Chinese woman by Quan Yin, and so on. The form is subjected to one s perception, yet the essence remains the same. Even though they see different things, they all pray to and receive messages and visions from the same source: the Divine Feminine, who took many forms in different time periods, different religions: she may have been known as Isis, Sophia, Gaia or Pachamama, but she was always the same eternal energy, the Great Mother of the World. Similarly, when we communicate with an angel, we come before a vision which originates from our own personal archives, and is always subjected to our current level of understanding. An angel will not appear in a form that has not already existed in our unconscious mind, or in a form that is alien to our preconditioning, and will never offer a message we are not ready to receive. Visions, or significant dreams of a spiritual nature, could also be nothing but the creation of our own unconscious need to become the receiver of a vision! In short, they are false visions not only in form, but in essence, created by our arrogant need to feel blessed with angelic encounters, or simply by our very humane need to reinforce our faith in the unseen world, and receive answers from a source we can acknowledge as an authority. On a deeper level, we always know the answer to our problems, yet we often lack a way of contacting our Higher, all-knowing, Divine Self. If the answer we are searching for, comes from the lips of a higher spiritual figure, we accept it wholeheartedly as a sign from God, and therefore feel at ease by the solutions offered. Even the spiritual images which are illusions, can still offer valuable insights into our own inner self: in psychological terms at least, such encounters are quite valuable, since they are the result of a deep need to communicate with our unconscious center. Drop Dead Gorgeous. by Samantha Steward The more health conscious amongst us are aware of what foods are good for you, and should be eaten in abundance, and which foods are bad for you, and should be eaten in moderation. Some people wouldn t dream of tucking into a fast food meal, for fear of what it might do to them, but may, unwittingly be regularly poisoning themselves with carcinogenic chemicals. Think about your normal beauty routine, shower gel, body lotion, toothpaste, cleanser, toner, and moisturiser, and that s when you re short on time. Add to the equation hair products, hand and foot creams, fragrance and make up, all of which contain a plethora of chemicals. Have you ever questioned just what effect these chemicals are having on your system? Chemicals that are applied to the skin are absorbed into the body, and so it would make sense to know exactly what we are putting onto ourselves. Skin is the body s largest organ; it consists of up to 15 layers of flat cells, the last of which is in direct contact with the blood stream. Some oils and alcohols can easily penetrate the deeper layers, and so are used to help carry active ingredients to them. It is estimated that up to 60 per cent of the chemicals that come into contact with the skin may be absorbed into the body. This could be as much as 2 kg (4.4lb) a year of chemicals being absorbed through the skin! Many chemicals found in toiletries have been used for decades without having undergone any safety checks, as chemical companies do not have to produce any data if a substance was put on the market before 1981. These unchecked chemicals account for about 90 per cent of the chemicals in circulation today! Even some natural products can be not so natural when the contents are investigated, natural products only need to have 1 per cent natural ingredients in them to be called natural. Misleading? Yes, illegal? No! Here are some ingredients to avoid: Formaldehyde, found in Shampoos, Bubble baths and even some baby cleansing products, it is a known carcinogen. Polthylene glycol, found in most skin cleansers, used to dissolve grease, is also often found in oven cleaners. Propylene glycol, used in some hair, make up, aftershave and deodorants, is also the main ingredient in brake fluid and anti freeze. Sodium laurel sulphate (SLS) found in just about all personal cleansing products, is a harsh detergent, and a very effective engine degreaser! When combined with other ingredients, SLS can form nitrosamines, which are carcinogenic. SLS penetrate the skin and the eyes, and can be held in the brain, heart and liver. It can damage the immune system, and cause inflammation of the skin. Alcohol or Isopropyl, a poisonous solvent, known to cause nausea, depression. It dries the skin, causing crakes and fissures. Can be found in hair dyes, aftershaves, body lotions, fragrances, and mouth rinses. Aluminium salts, (Aluminium hydroxychloride, Aluminium chlorohydrate, Aluminium sulphate) blocks pores, and has been linked to Alzheimer s. Petrolatum, also known as mineral oil jelly, liquid Vaseline, and baby oil. This can cause photosensitivity. It also blocks pores, suppressing the skin natural functions, stripping the skins natural oils, causing dryness. Padimate-O, (also known as octyl dimethyl, PABA) mostly found in sunscreens. There is concern that the energy absorbed by this sunscreen is turned into free radicals and may actually increase the risk of skin cancer. Talc. A known carcinogen, can lodge in the lungs, cause respiratory problems, and a major cause of ovarian cancer when used in the genital area. Found in baby talc, face powders, and body powders.
