Magna Grecia Mare Promozione e valorizzazione della cultura marittima comune è un progetto finanziato con i fondi del Programma Europeo di Cooperazione Territoriale Grecia - Italia 2007-2013. Magna Grecia Mare è un ponte ideale sul Mar Mediterraneo. Valorizza e promuove la comune cultura del mare quale rotta privilegiata che unisce i territori costieri della Puglia a quelli dell Isola di Corfù. Magna Grecia Mare è un idea ed un progetto maturati dalla Regione Puglia e dai comuni di Corfù, Giovinazzo e Tricase che, da sempre, considerano il mare risorsa primaria per le comunità costiere. Le piccole comunità di pescatori, ed i piccoli borghi marinari, sono un immenso contenitore di saperi, integrati con l entroterra, da valorizzare ai fini di uno sviluppo turistico qualificato e sostenibile. L idea si concretizza con il coinvolgimento dell Associazione Magna Grecia Mare in Puglia e dell Associazione dei Pescatori di Petritis a Corfù. Esse hanno tutelato le antiche tradizioni marinare del Mediterraneo, conservandole intatte ed originali, offrendo a tutti la possibilità di tuffarsi nella cultura, nella vita e nell arte del mare, dal sapore antico, pieno di fascino. Magna Grecia Mare è... una rete di Porti museo Sono ecomusei, sono luoghi e percorsi che raccontano la storia e la vita del mare, sul mare e con il mare. Sono porti, approdi e piccoli borghi, testimoni viventi e protagonisti attivi di una cultura secolare, di antiche tradizioni marinare, di affascinanti contaminazioni culturali, di sbarchi ed imbarchi, di arrivi e partenze. Sono spazi vivi e vissuti dove gente di mare e di terra, pescatori e non, abitanti e visitatori, storia e cultura, ambiente, barche, oggetti, paesaggi, riti, racconti, ricordi e sogni, creano un porto e lo arricchiscono di colori, di suoni

e di odori. Sono ambienti di mare e di terra ricchi di usanze, tradizioni, valori, credenze, simboli e miti. Sono officine, sono luoghi di lavoro quotidiano, all aperto ed al chiuso, eredi orgogliosi di una cultura antica. Sono comunità che prende consapevolezza del suo valore e, con discrezione, si mette in mostra e si propone. una rete di Cantieri del gusto Sono luoghi di apprendimento pratico e di esperienza sensoriale per amatori della cucina tradizionale dei pescatori greci e pugliesi. Sono veri e propri cantieri degli antichi sapori in cui la comunità dei pescatori, cuochi esperti ed appassionati cultori dell eno-gastronomia locale, insegnano a realizzare, propongono e divulgano una cucina semplice ma ricca di sapori e di profumi, una cucina di mare e vicino al mare, una cucina di oggi che non ha dimenticato! una Bibliomediateca del mare Sono centri di raccolta e consultazione, fisica e multimediale, di documenti, pubblicazioni, interviste, filmati, fotografie e testimonianze che raccontano la cultura, l arte, i mestieri e le tradizioni nel Mar Mediterraneo, la vita e la storia dei suoi territori costieri, delle sue piccole comunità di pescatori, le loro storie, le loro usanze, gli antichi sapori, le antiche rotte di navigazione, le tradizionali tecniche artigianali. Sono luoghi di ricerca e di scambio di conoscenze, centri di formazione ed approfondimento. ospitalità I punti di accoglienza al turista aiutano ad orientarsi sul territorio e forniscono informazioni su servizi ed attività, attraverso le quali esplorare il mondo di Magna Grecia Mare. Offrono utili indicazioni per alloggiare presso le strutture ricettive diffuse nei borghi, che accolgono gli ospiti nel pieno rispetto delle tradizioni del territorio.

Magna Grecia Mare - Promotion and enhacement of common maritime culture is a project financed by funds of the European Program of Greece- Italy Country Cooperation 2007-2013. Magna Grecia Mare is a perfect bridge between the two countries on the Mediterranean Sea. The aim of the project is to enhance and promote the sea culture as a privileged bridge between the two coastal territories of Apulia and those of Corfù Island. Magna Grecia Mare is an idea and a project promoted by the Regione Puglia and Corfù towns, Giovinazzo and Tricase, that have always considered the sea as a primary resource for people that live in coastal areas. Small fishing villages and consortium represent an important heritage of knowledge, well integrated with the inland countries. They have to be promoted with a view to enhance qualified and sustainable tourism. The Magna Grecia Mare Association in Apulia together with the Fishing Association of Petritis and Corfù gave concrete form to this idea. Their goal was to promote and safeguard the traditional navy life on the Mediterranean Sea, in order to protect it from time and keep its pure character. Tourists have now the possibility to plunge into the sea culture and navy life, and enjoy their ancient taste and charm. Magna Grecia Mare is... a network of harbor-museum Harbour-museum are a sort of environmental museum, places that show the tourist something about the history and the life of the sea, on the sea and with the sea. Places such ports, harbors and small villages are full of signs that bear witness to an ancient culture. A culture made of old sea traditions, melting pot of cultures full of charm, stories of landing and boarding, arrivals and departures. Places that are real, where people live and have leaved, where seamen and inland people, fishermen, inhabitants and tourists, history and culture, environment, boats, objects, landscapes,

custom, tales, memories and dreams create and harbor rich of colors, sounds and smells. Inland and coastal places that are rich of traditions, custom, values, believes, symbols and myths. Places compared to workshops, full of people s everyday work, outdoor and indoor places, heirs of an ancient culture. People become aware of the value of these places, which show to tourists, in a very simple way, their traditional and true character.... a network of workshops of taste Workshops of taste are places of practical learning and sensorial experience, for those people who like traditional food made by fishermen from Greece and Apulia. Workshops of ancient taste, where fishing consortium, good chefs and experts of local food-and-wine connoisseurship, teach, suggest and promote a traditional homely food, rich of taste and smells, which they have never forget!... a network of video and tape libraries Video and tape libraries are places where multimedia and non-multimedia documents are gathered, such as publications, articles, short films, photos and evidences. These documents tell us something about culture, arts, craft and traditions of the countries on the Mediterranean Sea. Lives and stories of coastal territories and their small fishing villages, their traditions, their custom, their ancient tastes, their old navigational routes and traditional handcraft techniques. They are a sort of research centre of knowledge exchange, learning and investigation.... hospitality Welcome points help tourists to see where they are on the territories. They provide people with information on local services and activities, through which they can explore the World of Magna Grecia Mare. They give useful advices on accommodation facilities in old villages, that welcome the guests in the full respect of the local traditions.

Magna Grecia Mare - Προώθηση και ενίσχυση της κοινής θαλάσσιας κουλτούρας είναι ένα πρόγραμμα που χρηματοδοτείται με πόρους από το Ευρωπαϊκό Πρόγραμμα Εδαφικής Συνεργασίας Ελλάδας Ιταλίας 2007-2013. Magna Grecia Mare είναι μια ιδανική γέφυρα στη Μεσόγειο. Αξιοποιεί και προωθεί την «κοινή κουλτούρα της θάλασσας, ως μια προνομιακή διαδρομή που ενώνει τις παράκτιες περιοχές της Απουλίας με αυτές του νησιού της Κέρκυρας. Magna Grecia Mare είναι μια ιδέα και ένα σχέδιο που ωρίμασε ανάμεσα στην Περιφέρεια της Απουλίας, τους δήμους Giovinazzo και Tricase και τους δήμους της Κέρκυρας, που ανέκαθεν θεωρούν την θάλασσα πρωταρχική πηγή για τις παράκτιες κοινότητες. Οι μικρές κοινότητες των ψαράδων και τα μικρά ψαροχώρια, είναι ένα τεράστιο δοχείο γνώσης, που ενσωματώνεται με την ενδοχώρα και πρέπει να αξιοποιηθεί για τους σκοπούς της εξειδικευμένης και βιώσιμης τουριστικής ανάπτυξης. Η ιδέα έγινε πραγματικότητα με τη συμμετοχή του Συλλόγου Magna Grecia Mare στην Απουλία και του Συλλόγου Αλιέων Πετριτή στην Κέρκυρα. Αυτοί έχουν προστατεύσει τις αρχαίες ναυτικές παραδόσεις της Μεσογείου, διατηρώντας τες ανέπαφες και πιστές στις ρίζες τους, προσφέροντας σε όλους την ευκαιρία να βουτήξουν στον πολιτισμό, στη ζωή και στην τέχνη της θάλασσας, με την αρχαία γεύση, γεμάτη γοητεία. Magna Grecia Mare είναι...... ένα δίκτυο από λιμάνια μουσείο Είναι «ήχο-μουσεία είναι μέρη και μονοπάτια που διηγούνται την ιστορία και τη ζωή της θάλασσας, στη θάλασσα και με τη θάλασσα. Είναι λιμένες, γη και μικρά χωριά, ζωντανοί μάρτυρες και ενεργοί πρωταγωνιστές μιας κουλτούρας αιώνων, των αρχαίων ναυτικών παραδόσεων, με συναρπαστικές

πολιτιστικές αλληλοεπιρροές, με εκφορτώσεις και φορτώσεις, με αφίξεις και αναχωρήσεις. Είναι χώροι ζωντανοί και με εμπειρίες, όπου οι άνθρωποι της γης και της θάλασσας, ψαράδες και μη, κάτοικοι και επισκέπτες, ιστορία και πολιτισμός, περιβάλλον, βάρκες, αντικείμενα, τοπία, τελετουργικά, ιστορίες, αναμνήσεις και όνειρα, δημιουργούν ένα λιμάνι και το εμπλουτίζουν με χρώματα, ήχους και μυρωδιές. Είναι περιοχές της θάλασσας και της γης πλούσιες σε έθιμα, παραδόσεις, αξίες, πεποιθήσεις, σύμβολα και μύθους. Είναι εργαστήρια, είναι καθημερινά μέρη εργασίας, ανοιχτού και κλειστού χώρου, περήφανοι κληρονόμοι ενός αρχαίου πολιτισμού. Είναι κοινότητες που συνειδητοποιούν την αξία τους και, με διακριτικότητα επιδεικνύονται και προτείνονται.... ένα δίκτυο από εργαστήρια των αρχαίων γεύσεων Είναι χώροι πρακτικής μάθησης και αισθητηριακής εμπειρίας για τους λάτρεις της παραδοσιακής κουζίνας των Ελλήνων και των Απούλων ψαράδων. Είναι πραγματικά εργαστήρια των αρχαίων γεύσεων, στα οποία η κοινότητα των ψαράδων, έμπειροι μάγειρες και παθιασμένοι λάτρεις της τοπικής οινο-γαστρονομίας, διδάσκουν πώς να δημιουργήσετε, προτείνουν και προωθούν μια κουζίνα απλή αλλά γεμάτη γεύσεις και αρώματα, μια κουζίνα θάλασσας και κοντά στη θάλασσα, μια κουζίνα του σήμερα που...δεν έχει ξεχάσει!... Μια Βιβλιοθήκη πολυμέσων της θάλασσας Είναι κέντρα συλλογής και διαβούλευσης, με φυσικά μέσα και πολυμέσα, έγγραφα, δημοσιεύσεις, συνεντεύξεις, βίντεο, φωτογραφίες και μαρτυρίες που διηγούνται τον πολιτισμό, την τέχνη, τις τέχνες και τις παραδόσεις της Μεσογείου, τη ζωή και την ιστορία των παράκτιων περιοχών, των μικρών αλιευτικών κοινοτήτων της, τις ιστορίες τους, τα έθιμά τους, τις αρχαίες γεύσεις, τις αρχαίες θαλάσσιες διαδρομές, τις παραδοσιακές χειροποίητες τέχνες. Είναι τόποι αναζήτησης και ανταλλαγής γνώσεων, κέντρα κατάρτισης και εμβάθυνσης.... φιλοξενία Τα «σημεία υποδοχής» βοηθούν τους τουρίστες να περιηγηθούν στο χώρο και παρέχουν πληροφορίες σχετικά με τις υπηρεσίες και τις δραστηριότητες, μέσω των οποίων μπορούν να εξερευνήσουν τον κόσμο της Magna Grecia Mare. Προσφέρουν χρήσιμες υποδείξεις για τις εγκαταστάσεις φιλοξενίας διαδεδομένες στα χωριά που καλωσορίζουν τους επισκέπτες σε πλήρη συμμόρφωση με τις τοπικές παραδόσεις.
