PROJECTS ON EMPLOYABILITY PROMOTION "DIADROMI" (2002-2004) & ENTELEHEA" (2006-2009) The Social Welfare Division of Hellenic Red Cross, in collaboration with the Ministry of Employment and Social Protection, implemented through EQUAL s activities, two Action Plans in the frame of European Operational Program, "Employment and Vocational Training" (co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Greek Ministry). PROJECTS ON EMPLOYABILITY PROMOTION "DIADROMI" (2002-2004) & ENTELEHEA" (2006-2009) Vulnerable groups profited by the Projects: Men and women, long-term unemployed (over 45 years old) Women s special categories being threatened by social exclusion. Specifically: Κάντεκλικγιαναεπεξεργαστείτετονυπότιτλοτου Ø υποδείγματος Women over 35 years old Ø Single mothers Ø Abused women Ø Women with other difficulties of social integration (women that have not completed the secondary education, independently of age and duration of unemployment) Homeless Refugees, asylum seekers and migrant women
PROGRAMS ON EMPLOYABILITY PROMOTION COUNSELING AND PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT SERVICE (Since 1965) Target groups: young people, homeless, unemployed, migrants, newly vulnerable groups due to economic crisis and other social excluded or minority groups Aim of Activities: psychosocial support and vocational services in order to cope effectively Κάντεκλικγιαναεπεξεργαστείτετονυπότιτλοτου with the conseuences of crisis Main activities υποδείγματος Counseling and Psychosocial support Information about rights and social benefits (education, health, social insurance, housing, financial allowance) Vocational guidance, empowerment and labor integration Financial support, provision of materials Networking with public and private sources
