1. Introduction Within the framework of erenet project 5 training seminars were organized by the involved academia and regional energy agencies (NTUA, REGEA, EAO, BSERC and IrRADIARE) in the target countries so as to diffuse the idea and modus operandi of the SEAPs in other communities with similar characteristics, assuring thus the wider impact of the results. These training seminars aimed mainly at the exchange of thoughts among regional energy agencies, and communities local stakeholders (e.g. energy actors, investors) outside the consortium, presenting in a coherent and integrated way the intermediate and final results of the project, as well as the advantages of adhering to the CoM and the developed web tools. This deliverable focuses on the presentation of the related material developed within the framework of the training seminars (agendas, power point presentations, signed participants lists, photos), while the report on the training results is presented in D5.5 Within the framework of the erenet training seminars different training methods and material were used e.g. power point presentations, online presentation of the erenet web tools, panel discussions on selected thematic areas, best practices and lessons learnt. 2. Training Seminar in Portugal Α Training Seminar was organizedd on the 19 th of April 20132 in Sertã, Portugal. The training workshop was specially targeted at municipalities and a stakeholders, in order to allow sharing knowledge in SEAP ss development. Additionally, one of the objectives of the Training Seminar was the presentation of erenet s web tool. More particularly, an online demonstration of the erenet web tools tookk place as well as presentation of the experience of the region on the use of web tools. Moreover, the SEAP of Sertã as a bestt practice was elaborated. 3. Training Seminar in Bulgaria In the framework of erenet project a Training Seminar was w organized on the 24 th of April 2013 by the Municipality of Asenovgrad for presenting a web tool for energy planning. The neighboring municipalities were invited to take part in this event, ass well as all stakeholders, who take activee part in Sustainable Energy Action Plans preparation. The seminar was held at the Municipal administration building premises and its core objective was to support the local authorities in their energyy planning and to present the web tool an instrument, whichh allows the municipal experts to cover all energy sectors. Best practices on the use of the web tools and real examples were presented. 4. Training Seminar in Croatia The National training workshop: Mechanisms for financing sustainable energy development of cities and municipalities in the Republic of Croatia, C was organized on the 2 nd of October 2013 in Tuheli, Croatia as the part of the CROENERGY 2013: Sustainable energy finance and investment summit, 2-4 October 2013 in order to increasee the visibility and impact off the trainingg seminar on the local stakeholders. s. The purpose of the training was to acquaint representatives of Croatian local communities with the available financing mechanisms for promotion and implementation of sustainable energy projects at the local level. The development of a SEAP with the use of erenet web tools was furtherr promoted and best practices were presented. 5. Training Seminar in Greece A Training Seminar was organized in Amyntaio, Greece by the Municipality of Amyntaio and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) on the 25 th of November in parallel with the workshop Supporting the Development of Rural Communities SEAP and their Potential Funding. The event included the presentation of the Covenant of Mayors initiative and the t erenet web tools for the development of SEAPs, as well as experience and best practices from submitted Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs). In addition, particular emphasis was laid on the innovative financing mechanisms for sustainable energy investments. 6. Training Seminar in Austria erenet Training Seminar in Judenburg, Austria was elaborated on the e 27 th of February 2013 and took place in Zeltweg / Murtal valley. In an effort to broaden the training seminar impact in the local communities, and not restrain it within thee consortium, the Training Seminar was organized inn a cooperation between Energy Agency Upper Styria (EAO) and Climate Alliance Austriaa during the EU-project NETCOM. N The 23 participants came from Austrian municipalities, energy agencies, consulting c organizations and climate alliance. 7 multipliers from the following communities participated inn the well organized seminar: Laxenburg, Saalfelden,, Fohnsdorf, Seckau, Judenburg, Zeltweg.
