EPISTLE READING The reading is from St. Paul's Second Letter to the Corinthians 9:6-11 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Verse: What shall I render to the Lord for all that he has given me? Brethren, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that you may always have enough of everything and may provide in abundance for every good work. Senior Citizen Ministry: St. Sophia s Senior Parea is open to all senior citizens of the community. St. Nicholas Shrine Vigil Candle: Thank you to Dr. Peter and Mrs. Alice Zavitsanos for sponsoring today s vigil candle for St. Nicholas Shrine. Anyone wishing to sponsor a vigil candle should sign up at the Pangari. (Each vigil candle lasts one week). Each week a new vigil candle will be placed next to the icon of St. Nicholas until the construction of St. Nicholas Shrine has been completed. The asking donation is $10.
