1 INVERSE NODAL PROBLEMS FOR DIRAC-TYPE INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL OPERATORS arxiv: v [math.sp] 29 Ju 206 BAKI KESKIN AND A. SINAN OZKAN Abstract. The iverse odal problem for Dirac differetial operator perturbated by a Volterra itegral operator is studied. We prove that dese subset of the odal poits determies the coefficiets of differetial ad itegral part of the operator. We also provide a uiqueess theorem ad a algorithm to recostruct the coefficiets of the problem by usig the odal poits.. Itroductio We cosider the boudary value problem L geerated by the system of Dirac itegro-differetial equatios: l[yx] := BY x+ωxyx+ subject to the boudary coditios 2 x 0 MxtYtdt = Yx x 0π Uy : = y 0siα+y 2 0cosα = 0 3 Vy : = y πsiβ +y 2 πcosβ = 0 0 where α β are real costats ad is the spectral parameter B = 0 Vx+m 0 M xt M Ωx = Mxt = 2 xt Yx = 0 Vx m M 2 xt M 22 xt y x Ωx ad M xt are real-valued fuctios i the class of W y 2 x 2 0π where m is a real costat. Throughout this paper we deote px = Vx +m rx = Vx m. I 988 the first results of the iverse odal Sturm Liouville problem was give by McLaughli [3] who proved that the potetial of the Sturm Liouville problem ca be determied by a give dese subset of odal poits of the eigefuctios. I 989 Hald ad McLaughli cosider more geeral boudary coditios ad give some umerical schemes for the recostructio of the potetial from odal poits [9]. Iverse odal problems for Sturm Liouville or diffusio operators have bee studied i the several papers [] [2] [3] [6] [4] [5] [6] [9] ad [20]. 2 2 BAKI KESKIN AND A. SINAN OZKAN have bee solved i [8] [8] ad [2]. I their works it was show that the zeros of the first compoets of the eigefuctios determies the coefficiets of operator. Nowadays the studies cocerig the perturbatio of a differetial operator by a Volterra itegral operator amely the itegro-differetial operator are begiig to have a sigificat place i the literature [4] [5] [7] [] ad [2]. For Sturm- Liouville type itegro-differetial operators there exist some studies about iverse problems but there is o study for Dirac type itegro-differetial operators. The iverse odal problem for Sturm-Liouville type itegro-differetial operators was first studied by [0]. I their study it is show that the potetial fuctio ca be determied by usig odal poits while the coefficiet of the itegral operator is kow. I our study we prove that the itegral operator ca be partially determied as well as the potetial fuctio ad the other coefficiets of the problem. 2. For sufficietly large the first compoet ϕ x of the eigefuctio ϕx has exactly odes { x j : j = 0} i the iterval 0π: 0 < x 0 < x <... < x < π. Moreover Vx L x α ad β ca be recostructed by the followig formulae: Step-: For each fixed x 0π choose a sequece lim xj = x; Step-2: Fid the fuctio fx from 2 ad calculate Vx = f x α = f0 β = fπ x j Step-3: If si2α 0 fid the fuctio gx from 3 ad calculate m = g0+2αα β si2α L x = g x+2 β α π Vx+m2 otherwise assume m is kow. Let { x j } X be the dese subset of odal poits i 0π give by the followig asimptotics: x j j +/2π = + + j +/2π 2 2 +si π j +/2π 4 +si j +/2π It ca be calculated from 2 ad 3 that + +o. 2 fx = π 4 +six gx = +x+six Therefore it is obtaied by usig the algorithm i Therem Vx = f x = cosx α = f0 = π = fπ = β 4 M 2 xx M 2 xx = L x = cosx m =.
