ΚΥΡΙΑΚΗ 23 ΙΟΥΛΙΟΥ 2017 Κυριακή ζ Ματθαίου Ελέησον ηµάς υιέ Δαβίδ»
Ελέησον ηµάς υιέ Δαβίδ» Πρόκειται για µία παρακλητική κραυγή λαϊκού χαρακτήρα, που απευθύνεται, όχι σε κανένα ξένο, αλλά στον απόγονό του Δαβίδ, δηλ. τον εθνικό µεσσία του Ισραήλ. Ο χαρακτηρισµός υιέ Δαβίδ, κάνει το κραυγαλέο αίτηµα ακόµα περισσότερον τολµηρό, αλλά και αποκαλυπτικό της πίστης των στον ερχόµενο µεσσία, τον µέλλοντα λυτρούσθαι τον Ισραήλ. Αυτοί που κραυγάζουν είναι δυό άνθρωποι τυφλοί, οι οποίοι ένεκα τούτου βρίσκονται στο περιθώριο της κοινωνίας και καθηµερινά εισπράττουν µαζί µε την ελεηµοσύνη και τον γενικό αποτροπιασµό των συµπολιτών τους, δεδοµένου µάλιστα ότι όλες οι ανίατες ασθένειες θεωρούνται από την Ιουδαϊκή κοινωνία ως τιµωρία του Θεού. Στο αντίκρισµα του Ιησού, Μεσσία, υιού του Δαβίδ, οι δυό αυτοί δυστυχισµένοι άνθρωποι ανασάνουν ίσως για πρώτη φορά αισιόδοξα. Ίσως για πρώτη φορά να ένοιωσαν ως άνθρωποι που έχουν δικαιώµατα στη ζωή και τον κόσµο. Ο Μεσσίας ως ενθικός λυτρωτής, αλλά και ως ελπίδα, ως η ανάσα των κάθε λογής καταπιεζοµένων και κοινωνικά αποδιωγµένων. O εθνικός Μεσσίας του Ισραήλ είναι ο µεσσίας και λυτρωτής του πανανθρώπινου. Αυτό δε λέγεται αυθαίρετα, επιβεβαιώνεται πολλές φορές από τον ίδιο. Με τον όρο Ισραήλ δε νοείται το έθνος της Παλαιστίνης, αλλά το έθνος, γένος το ανθρώπινο, που αναγνωρίζει το µεσσία, ως λυτρωτή και απεσταλµένο του Θεού, «Θεόν αληθινόν εκ Θεού αληθινού». Ο όρος Ισραήλ είναι εβραϊκός διεθνοποιηµένος όρος που σηµαίνει τον πιστό του Θεού, τον άνθρωπο του Θεού, τον άγιο. Όποιος χρησιµοποιεί τον όρο αυτό µε άλλη σηµασία κάνει πράξη φαλκίδευσης, υπονόµευσης του ονόµατος του Θεού ως Θεού άγιου, ως Θεού αγάπης, ως Θεού ειρήνης. Και ο διάβολος µπορεί να αυτοαναγορεύεται Ισραήλ, αλλά ο λόγος από την πράξη απέχει: «Ελέησον ηµάς υιέ Δαβίδ». Η εναγώνια κραυγή σωτηρίας από τους δυό τυφλούς διαταράσσει τη γαλήνη της πορείας του Ιησού και των ανθρώπων εκείνων που τον ακολουθούν. Οι τυφλοί τρέχουν κοντά του, τον ακολουθούν, δε θέλουν να τον χάσουν. Ώσπου µία στιγµή βρέθηκαν απέναντι στο Χριστό µέσα σε ένα σπίτι που φιλοξενείται και εκεί τους ερωτά ευθέως, «πιστεύετε ότι δύναµαι τούτο ποιήσαι»; Ναι Κύριε, απαντούν οµόφωνα οι τυφλοί. Απάντηση άµεσης και ευθείας αναγνώρισης της κυριότητας του Ιησού πάνω στη ζωή. Λευκή επιταγή της Θεότητας του Χριστού. Καµία επιφύλαξη. Καµία αµφιβολία δεν έχουν οι τυφλοί. Με τα µάτια της ψυχής των βλέπουν µπροστά τους τον ίδιο το Θεό εν Χριστώ Ιησού. Και το θαύµα ως παιδί της πίστης επιβεβαιώνεται ακόµα µία φορά στο δικό τους το πρόσωπο.
Ο Χριστός αγγίζει µε το χέρι του το σηµείο του πόνου, τα τυφλά µάτια των ανθρώπων αυτών, τους δίνει την ευλογία και το έλεος του Θεού πράξη που δείχνει πέρα από την ευαισθησία του Θεού στον πόνο του ανθρώπου, τη θέληση του Θεού να πάρει πάνω του τον πόνο και τη δυστυχία των ανθρώπων. Μία συµπεριφορά Θεϊκής καταγωγής που οφείλει να βρίσκει ανθρώπινη εφαρµογή εκµηδένισης της απόστασης από κάθε εστία πόνου και δυστυχίας του συνανθρώπου µας. Άλλο να µιλήσεις στον πάσχοντα και άλλο να καθαρίσεις τις πληγές του µε τα χέρια σου. Ο πόνος δε µοιράζεται µε λόγια έστω και καλά λόγια, µοιράζεται µε έργα, µε πράξη συµπόνιας, οίκτου, αγάπης. Τα µηνύµατα του σηµερινού αγίου ευαγγελίου είναι πολλά και ζωτικά. Η λύτρωση βρίσκεται στην πηγή της ζωής, τον ίδιο τον ζωοδότη Κύριο. Η αναζήτηση του είναι δική µας ευθύνη και δική µας δυνατότητα. Να τον αναζητήσουµε στους δρόµους και στις γειτονιές, παντού όπου υπάρχει πόνος, όπου υπάρχει πένθος, όπου υπάρχει θλίψη, όπου υπάρχει δυστυχία. Να τον αναζητήσουµε στη χαροκαµένη µάνα που έχασε το παιδί της σε ατύχηµα, στην οικογένεια που ζει το δράµα του ναρκοµανή, του εξαρτηµένου από οτιδήποτε άλλες εξαρτησιογόνες ουσίες. Στο κρεβάτι του πόνου του καρκινοπαθή, του παράλυτου, του αδυνάτου. Ο Χριστός υπάρχει παντού, ανήκει σε µας η ευθύνη να τον αναζητούµε, να τον βρίσκουµε, να τον λειτουργούµε. Η χάρις του Κυρίου ηµών Ιησού Χριστού µετά πάντων υµών. Medical Appointments - Seniors will call the Clearview Senior Center between the hours of 9:00 am and 12:00pm to schedule their rides for the next day. When scheduling the ride they will provide their name, address, phone number, time of pick up and their destination. The senior will then call for their return trip. 2. Shopping Trips A van service will provide transportation for shopping trips either once a week or once every other week. Seniors will be picked up at their homes and taken to the local supermarket and then returned home. It isn t coming forward to venerate the cross, nor is it to receive the antidoron or blessed bread. Then what is it? The last thing we do is leave the Church. Father Anthony Coniaris writes that in the Book of Genesis (12:2) God blesses Abraham so that he, in turn, will be a blessing to the world. And as Christians, We are blessed in order to bless others. We are forgiven in order to forgive. We are loved in order to love. We are comforted in order to comfort others. We are saved to help others find salvation. Christ came to serve in order to teach us to serve others. We are His people. He is in us and we are in Him. The Liturgy continues after we leave Church. We return to the world as other Christs and the Liturgy we experienced in Church continues when we make His love real through our acts of mercy in the world. The Lord Jesus is very clear about our mission as believers: we are to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, visit those who are sick and welcome strangers, always recognizing that in our care for others we are caring for Him (Matthew 25:31-46). If, in fact, we are not doing these things we are explicitly told in the Scriptures that our faith is dead (James 2:17). Each of us is called to continue the Liturgy in the everyday circumstances of our personal lives, to become a living proclamation of the God News for the sake of the world. We are to be missionaries of His Kingdom in the world. The final act of receiving is giving.
