It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh that would compel you to be circumcised, and only in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. For even those who receive circumcision do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may glory in your flesh. But far be it from me to glory except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Receiving Holy Communion The sacrament of Holy Communion is reserved for only baptized and/or Chrismated Orthodox Christians who have properly prepared by fasting, prayer and confession. The Orthodox Church is not in sacramental communion with any other church outside the Orthodox Christian Faith. We know that the fruit of the Tree of the Cross of Christ is humility, but how can we harvest that fruit for our nourishment? The whole Parish is invited to join Presbytera Vasiliki as she guides us to look into ourselves and share in small groups thoughts and insights on finding our lost fruit: humility.
