Now therefore come, and let us go over to the camp of the Arameans. They know that we are hungry; therefore they have gone from the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall capture them alive and get into the city. 12 καὶ ἀνέστη ὁ βασιλεὺς νυκτὸς καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς τοὺς παῖδας αὐτοῦ Ἀναγγελῶ δὴ ὑµῖν ἃ ἐποίησεν ἡµῖν Συρία ἔγνωσαν ὅτι πεινῶµεν ἡµεῖς, καὶ ἐξῆλθαν ἐκ τῆς παρεµβολῆς καὶ ἐκρύβησαν ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ λέγοντες ὅτι Ἐξελεύσονται ἐκ τῆς πόλεως, καὶ συλληµψόµεθα αὐτοὺς ζῶντας καὶ εἰς τὴν πόλιν εἰσελευσόµεθα. 12 kai anest ho basileus nyktos kai eipen pros tous paidas autou Anaggel d hymin ha epoi sen h min And rose up the king in the night, and said to his servants, I shall report indeed to you what have done to us Syria; egn san hoti pein men h meis, kai ex lthan ek t s parembol s kai ekryb san en tÿ agrÿ legontes the Syrians.
