Ten i^ears l a t e r when th e same a r t i s t c re a te d f o r th e s t a t e th e s ta tu e o f A th e n a w h ic h was t o s ta n d i n th e Hecatom pedon o f th e new te m p le o f th e P o lia s, i t was no lo n g e r a m i l i t a n t d i v i n i t y w h ic h he s o u g h t t o r e p r e s e n t; i t was an A th e n a T riu m p h a n t.
