1 A IT INCUBATRICE ISTRUZIONI PER L UTILIZZO E LA MANUTENZIONE INFORMAZIONI GENERALI L incubatrice serve per creare le condizioni ideali affinché le uova fecondate poste al suo interno proseguano lo sviluppo embrionale fino alla nascita del pulcino. Il soggetto principale cui si deve attribuire il massimo dell importanza è l uovo. CONDIZIONI OTTIMALI PER LA DEPOSIZIONE C % feb-ott L ambiente deve essere ombreggiato e ben pulito. I nidi non devono essere esposti al sole diretto o a troppo calore. La temperatura deve essere compresa tra 17 C e 25 C (62 F - 77 F) e l umidità tra 55% e 75%. Il periodo fecondo è tra febbraio e ottobre. L uovo non deve essere di uso alimentare. L uovo deve essere fecondato. Le uova devono essere deposte nei nidi, non a terra. Utilizzare uova raccolte in pollai popolati da animali sani e ben nutriti. Gli animali devono essere alimentati con diete equilibrate a base di mais, farina di soia, erba medica, farine proteiche, vitamine, sali minerali e abbondante acqua. Gli animali devono essere sessualmente maturi: evitare gli esemplari troppo giovani o troppo vecchi. Per le età di maturazione consultare la Tabella 01. Gli animali devono essere presenti in giuste proporzioni tra maschi e femmine (consultare la Tabella 02) evitando gli incroci tra animali consanguinei poichè sono causa di morte dell embrione o di nascita di soggetti deboli. 1

Le uova devono essere raccolte a breve distanza dalla loro deposizione almeno 4 volte al giorno. In caso di temperature molto alte o molto basse raccogliere le uova ogni ora. Evitare di sbattere o urtare le uova. Pulire le uova da eventuali impurità servendosi di una paglietta di ferro o di uno straccio asciutto agendo molto delicatamente. Non usare acqua per pulire le uova. Si consiglia la nebulizzazione delle uova con soluzioni a base di biossido di cloro (si consiglia l acquisto di prodotti commerciali presso i migliori rivenditori o farmacie zootecniche)

3 INCUBAZIONE E AVVERTENZE C % H 2 O Le uova devono essere deposte, con la punta rivolta verso il basso, negli appositi vassoi (plateaux). Sono consigliati i vassoi in plastica poiché facilmente lavabili e disinfettabili. Dopo la raccolta, tenere le uova almeno 24 ore in un ambiente in cui la temperatura sia stabile e compresa tra 15 C e 18 C (59 F - 64 F) con un umidità compresa tra 70% e 75% POSIZIONAMENTO DELL INCUBATRICE C % Scegliere un locale pulito, privo di odori, ben arieggiato e non secco, in cui la temperatura resti stabile compresa tra i 17 C ed i 25 C (62 F - 77 F) con umidità compresa tra il 55% e il 75% Il locale deve essere ombreggiato, non esposto a luce diretta o a fonti di calore. Per la preparazione ed il corretto funzionamento dell incubatrice consultare l Riempire con acqua le vaschette come mostrato nell L'incubatrice é stata progettata per produrre il giusto grado di umidità per mezzo della/e vaschetta/e in dotazione; è comunque possibile aumentarla o diminuirla, aggiungendo o togliendo una o più vaschette (di egual capacità forma e misura) quando l'umidità rilevata nell'ambiente circostante risulti essere maggiore od inferiore rispetto a quanto consigliato nel presente manuale. Si raccomanda di incubare le uova almeno dopo 24 ore dalla loro deposizione. Non attendere tuttavia più di 5 giorni (120 ore). Non dare origine a sbalzi termici e non creare correnti d aria in quanto possono influire sull incubata in modo negativo. 80 cm Il piano d appoggio deve essere solido e stabile, posto ad un altezza di almeno 80 cm (32 inches) dal pavimento. C C Tenere presente che la temperatura rilevata nel locale condiziona il buon funzionamento dell apparecchio, quindi dovrà essere mantenuta costante sia di giorno che di notte. Il locale deve essere libero da animali di qualsiasi genere, compresi i pulcini appena nati. Non incubare uova danneggiate, deformi e/o con difetti, come illustrato nell. ATTENZIONE Si raccomanda di non incubare contemporaneamente uova di diversa specie o con termini di schiusa differenti (ad eccezione delle incubatrici adibite a tale operazione). Per conoscere la durata del periodo di incubazione consultare la. Probabili conseguenze per utilizzo di uova deposte da oltre 5 giorni o non adatte all incubata: Anche se appartenenti alla stessa specie, si consiglia di non incubare contemporaneamente uova di diversa grandezza, forma, peso e porosità del guscio, altrimenti la schiusa delle uova avverrà con tempi differenti (ad eccezione delle incubatrici adibite a tale operazione - l ). gli embrioni non raggiungono la maturazione, oppure non avviene la schiusa e i nascituri muoiono all interno delle uova schiuse in ritardo e molto irregolari con nati poco vitali o deformi. Debolezza dei pulcini che non riescono a liberarsi dal guscio notevole percentuale di uova chiare perché il germe ormai vecchio non si sviluppa 4 5

Nel caso in cui le uova da incubare siano molto piccole sarà possibile inserire una o più file di uova tra i separatori; se al contrario le uova dovessero essere molto grandi, sarà possibile eliminare qualche separatore. Qualora i separatori dovessero trovare resistenza in fase di inserimento nella macchina, premere leggermente le due estremità per agevolarne l'ingresso. 5 SPERATURA giorno giorno giorni alla schiusa L uovo fecondato contiene l embrione in fase di sviluppo. Appena sotto il guscio è visibile una fitta rete capillare l embrione appare come una macchia scura che diventa sempre più grande man mano che l incubazione progredisce. Oltre un certo tempo sono visibili solo una massa scura e la camera d aria, che diventa sempre più grande. La speratura si esegue illuminando l uovo mediante una torcia a luce intensa oppure con un apposita lampada sperauova Novital (consultare catalogo sul sito La speratura si esegue illuminando l uovo dalla parte opposta alla punta, che deve restare rivolta verso il basso. Sviluppo embrionale corretto nel periodo attorno al 10 giorno: l embione cresce e i vasi sanguigni diventano più fitti. Sviluppo embrionale corretto intorno al 16 giorno: l embrione cresce notevolmente e alla speratura appare completamente scuro ad eccezione della sacca d aria. A poche ora dalla schiusa (24-48 ore) l embrione vivo si presenta con il becco nella sacca dell aria. Negli ultimi tre giorni si consiglia di non effettuare la speratura. 6-7 giorno giorno SCHIUSA H 2 O La speratura si esegue in un locale buio. L unica fonte di luce deve essere la torcia. Dal 6-7 giorno è possibile, ma non indispensabile, sperare le uova per eliminare quelle non fecondate. È possibile ripetere l operazione tra il 10 e 17 giorno (non oltre tale periodo) per verificare il corretto sviluppo. FASI DELLO SVILUPPO EMBRIONALE giorno Per la preparazione alla schiusa dell incubatrice consultare l B. Tre giorni prima della schiusa aggiungere acqua nelle vaschette in modo tale da non dover effettuare rabbocchi. In seguito, aprire l incubatrice solo se strettamente necessario per non disturbare il delicato momento della schiusa. Tre giorni prima della schiusa non girare le uova, né manualmente, né con il girauova, se installato. A B C D Normale sviluppo della sacca d aria: col passare dei giorni la sacca cresce come illustrato. All 8 giorno, tramite speratura possono essere individuate le seguenti situazioni: (A) l uovo presenta una rete di vasi sanguigni rossi: normale sviluppo dell embrione (B) l uovo non presenta alcuna formazione: probabile morte prematura dell embrione (C) l uovo presenta una marcata macchia nera o rossa: probabile morte prematura dell embrione (D) l uovo presenta un anello rosso sangue: probabile morte prematura dell embrione Tre giorni prima della schiusa rimuovere i separatori

6 NASCITA MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA La manutenzione deve intendersi limitata ai normali controlli periodici sia delle parti in movimento sia del cavo d alimentazione, per accertarne un eventuale danneggiamento od usura. A schiusa avvenuta i nati devono restare nell incubatrice per circa 24 ore ad asciugare e non necessitano né di cibo né di acqua. I pulcini devono essere ricoverati in un ambiente molto caldo e tranquillo, oppure sotto un apposito riscaldatore; utilizzare degli appositi recinti per non far disperdere i pulcini. Nel momento in cui il calore sarà sufficiente, i pulcini non tenderanno ad addossarsi freneticamente l un con l altro e nemmeno ad allontanarsi troppo dalla fonte di calore. Abbeverare i pulcini con gli appositi abbeveratoi ed alimentarli utilizzando mangiatoie (consultare catalogo sul sito con mangimi idonei reperibili presso negozi specializzati. Si raccomanda di prendere tutte le precauzioni necessarie per evitare di respirare i vapori velenosi sia prima che dopo l operazione. È pertanto consigliato utilizzare guanti, occhiali e mascherina. PULIZIA STRAORDINARIA Al termine di ogni incubazione occorre pulire l incubatrice con un panno umido o con una spazzola, senza l uso di utensili o liquidi. È possibile rimuovere le polveri, con un getto d aria non violento, ricordando che, prima di effettuare ogni operazione, è necessario scollegare la spina dalla presa di rete. POST-NASCITA Nel caso, durante la schiusa, si sviluppassero forti odori (causati dalle uova non completamente schiuse), sarà necessario disinfettare l'incubatrice secondo la seguente procedura: Tre giorni dopo l ultimo giorno di incubazione, è probabile che le uova non schiuse non portino a nascite.?? Dopo ogni incubazione è bene controllare le uova eventualmente rimaste, per accertarne lo stato. 1 Eseguire le operazioni di pulizia in un ambiente aperto ma riparato, ricordando di scollegare la spina dalla presa di rete. 2 3 Pulire bene l incubatrice; in seguito, trattare con disinfettanti a base di biossido di cloro (si consiglia l acquisto di prodotti commerciali presso i migliori rivenditori o farmacie zootecniche) Infine lasciare l incubatrice aperta per almeno 24 ore per espellere i vapori e gli odori. Altre operazioni di pulizia e/o manutenzione dell apparecchio devono essere effettuate solo con personale qualificato presso un Centro d Assistenza autorizzato o presso Novital

7 NORME DI SICUREZZA Usare l apparecchio solo per lo scopo cui è destinato. Altri usi diversi da quanto indicato in queste istruzioni sono da intendersi pericolosi e la Ditta Costruttrice respinge ogni e qualsiasi responsabilità per eventuali danni a persone, animali o cose, derivanti dalla mancata osservanza di queste avvertenze. Controllare i dati riportati sulla targhetta segnaletica dell apparecchio e accertarsi che la tensione nominale di rete e la potenza disponibili siano adatte al suo funzionamento. NOVITAL mod. XYZXYZXYZ XXX-YV <<<XYZXYZX>>> xxx-yyy V- xy Hz MAX zzz W La sostituzione della lampadina (nelle macchine in cui è prevista) deve essere effettuata solo da personale qualificato, presso un Centro Assistenza autorizzato o presso la Novital. Nel caso in cui l apparecchio sia fuori servizio, scollegare prima la presa di rete. Renderlo poi inoperante tagliando il cavo di alimentazione il più vicino possibile al punto di innesto sull apparecchio. Smaltire l apparecchio presso strutture di dismissione idonee. Trattandosi di un apparecchio elettrico, non deve essere utilizzato con mani bagnate o a piedi nudi. L apparecchio è destinato al solo uso interno. L eventuale contatto con un getto d acqua o l esposizione ad intemperie possono provocare folgorazione. Evitare l uso improprio di prolunghe. Mantenere le connessioni all asciutto. Le eventuali riparazioni, (compresa la sostituzione del cavo d alimentazione, se danneggiato) dovranno essere effettuate dal costruttore o da figure tecniche qualificate. Evitare di disperdere nell ambiente le parti costituenti l imballo e come per l apparecchio, non lasciarli alla portata dei bambini, dei minori, degli incapaci o di animali. La casa costruttrice declina ogni e qualsiasi responsabilità per eventuali danni a persone, animali o cose derivanti dalla mancata osservanza di queste norme. ESCLUSIONE DI RESPONSABILITÁ Evitare che il cavo di alimentazione venga danneggiato o schiacciato. Proteggere da urti, spigoli, parti taglienti o in movimento. Durante l uso non deve essere accessibile a bambini e/o animali. L apparecchio non deve essere assolutamente utilizzato in ambienti a rischio, ove sia possibile la saturazione con gas infiammabili o possa venire a contatto con liquidi infiammabili. La pulizia o manutenzione dell apparecchio deve essere effettuata seguendo le norme specificate nel paragrafo MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA. In seguito ad aggiornamenti, modifiche e/o innovazioni tecniche, parte delle istruzioni, delle specifiche e delle immagini comprese nella INFORMAZIONI AGLI UTENTI presente documentazione potrebbero differire. Gli elementi ivi descritti sono da intendersi unicamente a titolo illustrativo e potrebbero non essere applicabili al Vostro caso specifico. Non è possibile ottenere diritti legali o rivendicazioni dalla descrizione effettuata nel presente manuale. Non spostare l apparecchio tirando il cavo d alimentazione. Scollegare sempre la spina dalla presa di rete prima di qualsiasi spostamento. Trattandosi di un apparecchio elettrico, in caso di incendio intervenire utilizzando esclusivamente estintori a polveri (non utilizzare MAI acqua: rischio di folgorazione). Nel caso l apparecchio risulti danneggiato o non integro in tutte le sue parti, non utilizzarlo. In attuazione delle Direttive 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE e 2003/108/CE, relative alla riduzione dell uso di sostanze pericolose nelle apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche, nonché allo smaltimento dei rifiuti, il simbolo del cassonetto barrato, qui rappresentato e riportato sull apparecchio indica che il prodotto alla fine della propria vita utile deve essere raccolto separatamente dagli altri rifiuti. L utente dovrà, pertanto, conferire l apparecchio giunto a fine vita agli idonei centri di raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti elettronici ed elettrotecnici, oppure riconsegnarlo al rivenditore al momento dell acquisto di un nuovo apparecchio di tipo equivalente, in ragione di uno a uno. L adeguata raccolta differenziata per l avvio successivo dell apparecchio dismesso al riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo smaltimento ambientalmente compatibile, contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti negativi sull ambiente e sulla salute, e favorisce il riciclo dei materiali di cui è composto l apparecchio. Lo smaltimento abusivo da parte dell utente comporta l applicazione delle sanzioni amministrative previste dalle leggi vigenti. Le informazioni relative alla corretta procedura dei sistemi di raccolta disponibili si dovranno richiedere al Servizio Locale di Smaltimento Rifiuti, o presso il negozio d acquisto

9 NOTE A EN INCUBATOR USER AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS GENERAL INFORMATION The incubator is used to create the ideal conditions so that the fertilized eggs placed in it continue the embryonic development through to the birth of the chicks. The highest importance has to be given to the egg. OPTIMAL CONDITIONS FOR EGG LAYING C % Feb-Oct The place must be shaded and well cleaned. The nests have not be exposed to direct sunlight or to too much heat, at a temperature included between 16 C and 24 C and humidity between 55% and 75%. The fertile period is included between February and October. The egg has not to be intended for alimentary purposes. The egg has to be fertilized. The eggs have to be laid in the nests and not on the ground. Use eggs that were collected in hen houses populated with animals that are healthy and well fed. The animals must be fed with balanced diets based on maize, soybean flour, alfalfa, high-protein flours, vitamins, mineral salts and abundant water. The animals must be sexually mature: avoid the specimens that are too young or too old. As for the maturation ages, see the table (Table 01). Males and females must be correctly proportioned (see the table Table 02); furthermore, prevent weak or consanguineous subjects from interbreeding (it would cause the death of the embryo)

The eggs must be harvested shortly after their laying, at least 4 times a day. In case of very high or very low temperatures, harvest the eggs every hour. Do not bump or hit the eggs. Clean the eggs from possible impurities by using steel wool or a dry cloth with great care. Do not use water to clean the eggs. It is advisable to spray the eggs with chlorine-dioxide based solutions

11 INCUBATION AND WARNINGS C % H 2 O The eggs must be laid into the specific trays with the tip facing downwards. It is advisable to use plastic trays because it is easy to wash and disinfect them. After egg harvesting, keep the eggs for at least 24 hours in a place where the temperature is stable and between 15 C and 18 C, with humidity between 70% and 75%. HOW TO POSITION THE INCUBATOR C % Select a place that is clean, odourless, well ventilated and non-dry, where the temperature keeps stable and included between 17 C and 25 C (62 F 77 F) and humidity included between 45% and 55%. The premises must be shaded, and not exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources. To prepare and correctly operate the incubator, see the attached brochure ( ). Fill the bowls with water, as shown in the attached brochure ( ). The incubator was designed to produce the correct humidity level by means of the supplied bowl/s. However, you can increase or reduce the humidity level by adding or removing one or both bowls (having the same capacity, shape and dimensions) when the humidity level being detected in the surrounding environment proves to be higher or lower than the recommended values that are specified in this manual. It is advisable to incubate the eggs at least after 24 hours from their laying. However, do not wait more than 5 days (120 hours). Do not create sudden changes of temperature and do not create draughts, as they can negatively influence the incubation. 80 cm The supporting plane must be solid and stable; place it at a minimum 80cm (32 inches) height from the floor. 20 C C Take into consideration that the temperature detected in the premises influences the correct operation of the device, so the temperature must be kept constant both during the day and the night. The premises must be free from any type of animal, including newly born chicks. Do not incubate eggs that are damaged, deformed and/or defective, as shown in the photo attachment ( ). WARNING Likely consequences due to the use of eggs that were laid more than 5 days before or not suitable for the incubation: the embryos do not reach maturation, or hatching does not take place and the unborn chicks die inside the eggs It is advisable not to simultaneously incubate eggs that belong to different species or with different hatching times (except for incubators that are intended for this specific operation). After a certain period, you can see just a dark mass and the air space becomes bigger and bigger. The candling operation is carried out by lighting up the egg with a super-bright torch or rather a specific Novital egg-candling lamp (see the catalogue in the website: The candling operation is carried out by lighting up the eggs from the part that is opposite to the tip, which must keep facing downwards. Correct embryo development during the period around day 10: the embryo is growing and the blood vessels are becoming thicker. Correct embryo development around day 16: the embryo is considerably growing and, during the candling operation, it appears to be totally dark, except for the air space. A few hours before egg-hatching (24-48 hours), the live embryo shows the beak in the air space. During the last three days, it is not advisable to perform any candling operation. Day 6-7 Day EGG-HATCHING H 2 O The candling operation is carried out in dark premises. The torch must be the sole light source. From day 6-7, you can candle the eggs to remove non-fertilized eggs. This operation is not indispensable. You can repeat this operation between day 10 and 17 (not later than that) to check the correct development of the eggs. 14 BIRTH OF THE CHICKS MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Maintenance is limited to normal periodical checks of the moving parts and of the power cord in order to verify possible damages or wear. After the egg-hatching, the newly born chicks must keep in the incubator for about 24 hours in order to dry and they don't need neither food nor water. The chicks must be taken to a very hot and quiet place, or rather under a specific heater; use specific pens to prevent the chicks from scattering. When the heat is sufficient, the chicks will not tend to frenetically throng together or to depart too much from the heat source. Water the chicks by means of the specific drinkers, and then feed them by using the feeders (see the catalogue in the website: with suitable birdseed that can be purchased in specialized stores. It is advisable to apply all necessary precautions not to breathe poisonous fumes both before and after the operation. Therefore, it is advisable to wear gloves, goggles and a face mask. At the end of each incubation, you must clean the incubator by using a wet cloth or a brush, without using tools or liquids. You can remove dust by using a smooth air jet; remember that, before performing any operation, you must disconnect the plug from the mains socket. EXTRAORDINARY CLEANING AFTER CHICK BIRTH If, during egg-hatching, bad smells develop, caused by the death of newly born chicks, it will be necessary to disinfect the incubator according to the following procedure: Three days after the last day of incubation, probably unhatched eggs will not lead to any chick birth.?? After each incubation, you must check the remaining eggs, if any, to verify their conditions. 1 Perform the cleaning operations in an open but sheltered place; remember to disconnect the plug from the mains socket. 2 3 First, clean the incubator in a thorough way. After that, treat it with chlorine dioxide-based disinfectants (it is advisable to purchase commercial products at the best resellers or in veterinary pharmacies). Finally, leave the incubator open for at least 24 hours to eliminate vapours and bad smells. Other device cleaning and/or maintenance operations must be carried out only by qualified personnel at an authorised Service Centre or at Novital s premises

15 SAFETY STANDARDS Use the device only for the purposes it is intended for. Uses other than the ones being specified in these instructions must be considered hazardous and the Manufacturer refuses all responsibilities caused by possible damages to people, animals or property, which derive from the non-compliance with these warnings. Check the data that are specified in the identification plate of the device, and make sure that the available nominal voltage of the network and the power are suitable for the operation of the device. The manufacturer refuses all responsibility due to possible damages to people, animals or property due to the non-compliance with these standards. Embrionentwicklung bis zur Geburt des Kückens fortsetzen. OPTIMALE BEDINGUNGEN ZUM LEGEN DER EIER C % febr.-okt. Die Umgebung muss schattig und einwandfrei sauber sein. Die Nester dürfen nicht der direkten Sonne oder zu hoher Wärme, Temperatur zwischen 16ºC und 24ºC und Feuchtigkeit zwischen 55% und 75%, ausgesetzt werden. Die Besamungszeit liegt zwischen Februar und Oktober. Das Ei muss für Nahrungszwecke bestimmt sein. Das Ei muss befruchtet werden. Das Ei muss in die Nester und nicht auf den Boden gelegt werden In Hühnerställen durch gesunde und gut gefütterte Tiere gelegte Eier verwenden. Die Tiere müssen mit einer ausgewogenen Mais-, Sojamehl-, Luzerne-, Proteinmehl-, Vitamin-, Mineralsalzdiät und reichlich Wasser ernährt werden. Die Tiere sollten geschlechtsreif sein: Zu alte oder zu junge Exemplare nicht in Betracht ziehen. Zum Messen des Tieralters siehe Tabelle 01. Die Tiere müssen im richtigen Verhältnis zwischen Weibchen und Männchen vorhanden sein (siehe Tabelle 02), so dass man Kreuzungen zwischen Inzuchttieren (weil sie zum den Tod des Embryos führen können) oder schwachen Tieren vermeidet

19 BRÜTEN UND HINWEISE C % H 2 O Die Eier müssen mit der Spitze nach unten, in die dafür vorgesehenen Platten (Plateaux) gelegt werden. Es werden Kunststoffplatten empfohlen, da sie leicht zu reinigen und zu desinfizieren sind. POSITIONIEREN DES BRUTAPPARATES C % Nach der Sammlung die Eier mindestens 24 Stunden in einer Umgebung, in der die Temperatur stabil zwischen 15ºC und 18ºC und einer Feuchtigkeit zwischen 70% und 75% bleibt, ruhen lassen. Einen sauberen, staubfreien, geruchlosen, trocken und gut belüfteten Raum aussuchen, in dem die Temperatur stabil bleibt zwischen 17 C und 25 C (62 F - 77 F) umd mit einer Luftfeuchtigkeit zwischen 45% und 55%. Zur Vorbereitung und für den einwandfreien Betrieb des Brutapparates, siehe beigelegtes Prospektposter ( ). Das Becken wie es auf dem beigelegten falzbaren Poster gezeigt wird ( ) Füllen. Der Brutapparat wurde konstruiert, um durch das/die Becken den richtigen Feuchtigkeitsgrad herzustellen; wobei es jedoch möglich ist, sie durch das hinzufügen oder entfernen eines oder mehrer Becken (mit gleicher Form und Fassungsvermögen) zu erhöhen oder zu reduzieren, wenn die in der Umgebung ermittelte Feuchtigkeit gegenüber der in diesem Handbuch empfohlenen Feuchtigkeit, zu hoch oder zu niedrig sein sollte. Es wird empfohlen, die Eier mindestens 24 Stunden nach dem sie gelegt wurden, zu Brüten. Jedoch nicht länger als 5 Tage (120 Stunden) warten. Der Raum muss im Schatten liegen und vor direkten Sonnenlicht oder Wärmequellen geschützt sein. 80 cm Temperaturschwankungen und Luftzüge müssen verhindert werden, sie können sich negativ auf das Brüten auswirken. Die Auflagefläche muss fest und stabil sein und sich auf einer Höhe von min. 80 cm (32 Zoll) vom Boden befinden. C C Darauf achten, dass die im Raum ermittelte Temperatur den reibungslosen Betrieb des Geräts beeinflusst, folglich muss sie Tag und Nacht konstant gehalten werden. Der Raum muss frei von Tieren aller Art, einschließlich der neugeborenen Küken, gehalten werden. Beschädigte, deformierte und/oder fehlerhafte Eier nicht brüten, siehe Abbildung ( ). ACHTUNG Es wird empfohlen, nicht gleichzeitig verschiedenartige Eier oder Eier mit anderen Ausschlüpfzeiten (mit Ausnahme von dafür vorgesehenen Brutapparaten) zu brüten. Die Brutzeit steht in der. Obwohl sie zur gleichen Art gehören, empfiehlt es sich nicht gleichzeitig Eier mit unterschiedlicher Größe, Form, Gewicht und Porosität der Schale zu brüten, da sonst die Eier zu verschiedenen Zeiten ausschlüpfen (mit Ausnahme von dafür vorgesehenen Brutapparaten - ). Mögliche Konsequenzen beim Einsatz von Eiern die länger als über 5 Tage gelegt wurden und nicht für den Brutapparat geeignet sind: 36 die Embryos erreichen ihre Reife nicht, oder sie schlüpfen nicht aus und die Ungeborenen sterben im Ei-Inneren zu späte und unregelmäßige Ausschlüpfungen mit schwach vitalen oder missgebildeten Neugeborenen. Schwache Küken, die sich nicht von der Schale befreien können erheblicher Anteil "klarer Eier", weil der bereits alte Keim sich nicht entwickelt 37
