22 N.B.: Do not change the wiring of the electric motor, the control unit is configured by default to open the gate to the right, to reverse the opening direction, follow the procedure described in point 2: 1. Move the gate to about 1 metre from completely closed, press and hold the PROG button until the flashing light comes on steady, release the PROG button 2. Press and release the P/P button, the gate must close at reduced speed. If instead it opens, do not change the wiring of the electric motor but press the MEMO RX button to reverse the direction. The flashing light stays on with a steady light 3. As soon as it reaches the CLOSING limit switch, the automation system starts opening at reduced speed until the OPENING limit switch trips and the flashing light stays on with a steady light 4. From the moment the gate stops due to the opening limit switch tripping, the control unit saves the total travel of the gate and starts counting the automatic closing time, maximum time 250 seconds, once the required time has elapsed, press button P/P; the automation system will start to close at cycle speed. 5. The gate slows down and then stops when the closing limit switch trips, exiting programming and the flashing light switches off. N.B. The first closing and first opening is performed at slowdown speed, any change in the dip switches or POWER trimmer must be made when the gate is closed. To view the operation of the magnetic limit switches just mechanically unlock the motor and enter the learning procedure described in point 1. Once the flashing light is on steady, move the gate leaf till the opening limit switch trips, if the magnet of the limit switch is read, the flashing light will start flashing, repeat this procedure also for the closing limit switch magnet. 7 Remote control programming Procedure for saving or deleting remote controls RADIO CODE LEARNING to control full opening and closing of the gate, maximum capacity 50 remote controls. N.B.: The first saved remote control configures the control unit to accept only remote controls with a rolling code or only remote controls with a fixed bit code. 1. With the gate closed, press and hold the MEMO RX button 2. Transmit the channel of the remote control that you want to save, a blink of the flashing light will follow to confirm saving, release the MEMO RX button. Repeat the procedure to save other remote controls, for a maximum of 50 remote controls DELETING A REMOTE CONTROL 1. Press and hold the MEMO RX button until the flashing light comes on with a steady light. 2. Transmit the channel of the remote control that you want to delete, 2 blinks of the flashing light will follow to confirm deletion. PROCEDURE FOR DELETING ALL REMOTE CONTROLS 1. Press and hold the MEMO RX button until the flashing light comes on steady 2. Continue keeping the button pressed until the flashing light starts blinking, after blinks ALL the codes will be deleted N.B.: After deleting all the remote controls, the first saved remote control configures the control unit to accept only remote controls with a rolling code or only remote controls with a fixed bit code. 8 Programmable functions: The table shows the functions that can be activated via the dip switches, the control unit reads the position of the dip switches with the gate stationary on closing: Dip switch number Status of dip switch Description DIP 1 OFF Closes after photocell disengagement, not active DIP 1 ON The gate closes 2 seconds after photocell disengagement ( input), if the automatic closing function is active DIP 2 OFF Automatic closing function not enabled DIP 2 ON Automatic closing function enabled DIP 3 OFF P.P. and PED control function without stopping (open close open) DIP 3 ON P.P. and PED control function without stopping (open close open) DIP 4 OFF Condominium function not enabled DIP 4 ON Condominium function active (during gate opening, it is not possible to stop the movement with the remote control or the P.P. and PED inputs, with the gate open with the automatic closing function active, if the P.P. input is closed the control unit stops the count for automatic closing until the input is reset, used for connecting a coil or timer) DIP 5 OFF Slowdown distance equal to % of total travel DIP 5 ON Slowdown distance equal to 20% of total travel DIP 6 OFF input configured for connecting the photocells on opening (when this input trips it stops the movement of the gate during opening and during closing, until it disengages to then continue opening) DIP 6 ON input configured for connecting the sensitive edge, when this input trips during opening and closing it causes reversing by approximately 5 cm. DIP 7 OFF High speed during slowdown DIP 7 ON Low speed during slowdown DIP 8 OFF Phototest function not active DIP 8 ON Phototest function active (observe the wiring shown in point 4.5.3) 20 EN

23 Trimmer for adjustment: Trimmer POWER Description Motor power (to increase the power turn the trimmer clockwise) INTENSITY OF USE: the control unit limits the intensity of use of the gate for breaks of less than 0 seconds. On reaching the th opening the gate remains still for 0 seconds, in this time the control buttons, remote controls and the automatic closing function are not active. The phase of stoppage is signalled by 3 blinks of the flashing light when a command is sent. At the end of the stoppage time the gate returns to normal operation. ELECTRONIC CLUTCH MANAGEMENT The electronic clutch is always active in both directions, when it trips during opening, the gate reverses for approximately 2 sec., while during closing it stops and opens completely. If it trips for 4 consecutive times the entire system STOPS and disables automatic closing, when applicable, forcing the user to give a start pulse and the gate performs a complete manoeuvre at slowdown speed. Installing batteries The battery charger is integrated in the control unit and enables charging 2 V leadacid batteries with a capacity of 1.5 Ah. The charging system is protected against short circuits. Place the batteries in the dedicated compartment and connect the 2 batteries in series, respecting the polarities, see image. EN 21
