T h is p roduct is the sperm p lug. T he phenom enon p roves that the sperm p lug of S cy lla serra ta is the comm on p roduct of m ale and fem ale crab. It s po ssib le to determ ined the ro le of either m ale o r fem ale crab s in the fo rm ation of the sperm p lug. T he sperm p lug con junctive the granu lar sem en and sperm atopho res, and som e sper2 m atopho res m ay rup tu re fo r pulled by the p lug.
